Vile Creed, also known as "The Midnight Assassin", is traveling through the wastelands of North America, on her way to meet her assigned team.
In this calm before the storm, that could very well be the heroes' last stand, she thinks about the recent events, more precisely, about Rufus Schwarzkreuz. It seems that Vile is the only one really capable of reading the Shadow Stalker, realizing on the spot what no-one else, at least none of their allies, figured out so far: That he indeed is in love with Blaze.
Will he find her? We'll probably never know. But what Vile is about to go through, is right around the corner.
