This is the first visual teaser to the "OTHERWORLD" project, I have planned for 2013.
It's also my first major work since overcoming that artist's block :w00t:

Here you see some of the main villains, that will be featured in the Otherworld story.
There will be more, but these are the big ones, the major antagonists of the story.
Here we have:

The Centipede ( bottom left ), the Godfather ( bottom right ),
Midnight ( left flying ), the Shadow Reaper ( center ) and Steelheart ( right flying )

I am quite pleased with this one. Except for one thing:
I wanted an outfit for the Shadow Reaper, that resembled that of Darth Vader a little and it seems I kinda overdid it ... a lot ^^;
Well, whatever.

BTW: The tagline is "They are the cancer ... you might be the cure".

So, I wonder who indeed will be the cure. Who will save the Otherworld from these tyrants?

One thing that I always liked about *Branded-Curse's work was his use of perception. What intially grabs my attention is how he can find the right angle for those in the background and the foreground.

Even though this is picture is a "teaser", it sure says a lot of what to expect for this future project. The use of colors adds to the feeling that these antagonist bring to the piece. While the fire behind the characters is not destroying the city (at least from this perspective), it does give the symbolic notion of how these five characters bring destruction to this world and why they must be stopped.

I think I saved this one so long to make sure I commented and it fell by the wayside and I never did! I love love love the Otherworld renditions of these guys! I haven't even had time to commit to reading every otherworld strip yet! Muchless contribute anything to it!
Just like Glennmetropolis, Proving Grounds and other collaborative stories! ARGH!

Centipede's the only one whose heroic counterpart would have been hard to figure out if you hadn't pointed it out. Must be those horns. XD No matter how evil he is, I can't help but "bugging" him about those. :lmao:

Hmm, to join or not to join, that is the question... Well, I have been wanting to introduce "Vitium" sooner or later... Which should make the identity of the hero I'd consider submitting pretty obvious... ^^

Judging from your devotion during Secret Wars, you would be a huge gain for this story. Would love to have you on board :-)
Please let me know when you made up your mind.

PS: They are not horns, they are centipede antennae :D
