:iconkostmeyer: allowed me to create a late entry for his "Vigil Villain" contest :thanks:
I gave it a lot of thought and this is what I came up with!
Meet Nejil, the cybernetic Vigil hunter! :omg:

The Story:
Once upon a time, in a dimension far far away, there was a super computer called T.Y.R.A.N.T.
Created originally to serve the people there as a protection system, T.Y.R.A.N.T. eventually turned on his creators.
Having control of all automatic things around, it overthrew the humans in no time, forcing them into slavery.
For several years the machines ruled the dimension with an iron fist - literally!
That was until Vigil arrived.
The galactic princess engaged in battle with T.Y.R.A.N.T. and his machines, in an attempt to bring freedom to the human slaves.
Being a computer, T.Y.R.A.N.T. didn't understood telekinesis and thus found no way of countering it in time. This would lead to its demise.
The end? Not by a long shot!

Soon after the T.Y.R.A.N.T.'s fall Vigil encountered a young woman by the name of Aura. The girl tried to befriend the princess, admiring her as her hero, rescuer and idol.
Aura's eagerness and light-hearted attitude delighted Vigil and often brought a smile to the stern princess' face.
That was until the day Aura would learn that she wasn't who - or more precisely what - she thought she was.
Aura thought herself human. But when she first saw someone else bleeding, she learned that human blood was red - hers was not.
Trying to find out what exactly this ment, she ultimatelly discovered, she was only part human, but mostly a machine.
In shock she fled to the ruins of T.Y.R.A.N.T.'s command center, knowing just too well the hate the people of this dimension had for machines.
Lost and alone she searched for her origins down in the catacombs of the fallen machine's lair.
In the end, she found her place of "birth", a laboratory deep under ground.
There she would also find a still working computer and locked herself into its terminal.
T.Y.R.A.N.T. had downloaded its remains to this computer, reactivating now and telling Aura her original purpose:
She was a Cyborg, her human parts cloned from the DNA of a drop of Vigil's blood, spilled in battle.
She was supposed to become T.Y.R.A.N.T.'s new vessel, created to destroy the entity, that had ended its reign: Vigil!
Aura's secondary programs, her fake "human feelings", were overwritten with a new program - to seek and destroy Vigil!
Her body was altered, too. In order to resemble Vigil's white suit, created by her own telekinetic powers, Aura's new attire was a full-body armor of steel.
The new Aura was supposed to surpass Vigil, but T.Y.R.A.N.T. still couldn't understand nor copy mental powers.
To even that, it equipped Aura's new body with all kinds of advanced weapons, most of them created to shatter a human mind, in order to somhow pierce through Vigil's defenses. It also included an experimental teleportation device.
Her old personality and name was deleted, too.
When Vigil finally found her missing fangirl, all the eagerness was gone.
Instead the princess looked into a pair of cold, uncaring eyes and an unemotional, matter-of-fact voice greeted her:
"I am Nejil! And I have orders to terminate you!"

Nejil lost her first bout against Vigil that day.
But T.Y.R.A.N.T. had created her part-human for a reason. It had learned of Vigil's belief about the sacredness of life, thus expecting she wouldn't have it in her to kill Nejil. And it was right.
Nejil followed Vigil like a bloodhound, using her teleportation device to go wherever the heroine went, to confront her.
This came to an abrupt end when the device overheated, becoming worthless in the process and trapping Nejil in a random dimension.
However, Lucyna the Fallen of all people found the cybernetic assassin. Holding a grudge against Vigil herself, the two made a deal:
For the price of the usage of the fallen one's own time and space portals at will, Nejil promised to deliver Vigil's head to her.
Since then she's on the hunt for Vigil again.

Even though Nejil's human parts were created using Vigil's DNA, it was slightly altered to not make her look like the heroine.
T.Y.R.A.N.T. intended to correct all of Vigil's "flaws". Nejil is tall, close to 6'3", and has blonde hair.
Where Vigil holds life sacred, Nejil scorns it.
She often uses innocent victims as bait to lure Vigil into obvious traps, just to hurt her and make it that much better in the process.
Nejil's body is filled with microdrones, who learn and adjust her everytime she loses to Vigil.
It is only a matter of time before Nejil really will surpass Vigil, maybe even learning Telekinesis, if the princess doesn't end it for good soon!
But will Vigil be willing and able to really kill Nejil, knowing what a nice girl she used to be?

PS: Nejil's 'Aura' persona also was a result of T.Y.R.A.N.T. creating a program that reversed all of Vigil's characteristics.
As a result the young woman became modest and open-minded. :P
